Book Review: Why read Pinkalicious – Princesses of pink slumber party ?

I recently stumbled upon a book in my library. I have not read it before or even heard about it in any of the online groups. But as soon as I picked it, I realized that my 6 year old daughter is definitely going to like it as she loves I can read series. It was this book called Pinkalicious β€” The princesses of pink slumber party by Victoria Kann.

The cover is very attractive and a girl being a main character, I was sure this will keep her hooked. I understand not all kids fancy princess stories these days, but those who love this genre will definitely have loads of fun reading this. This is about a slumber party for all the princesses and what they wish to dream about that night. It has got the stereotypical pretty princess, tiaras, colorful illustrations and more than that it is a very light and fun read. If you are looking for non-Disney or the not-the-regular stories , this is will be a perfect choice. It comes in paperback format and cheaper but definitely a worthy one.

As I mentioned it is only a fun read and has very very minimal educational value!! This is perfect for 4-6 year old children. Since it is about a girl named Pinkalicious every single page is in pink!!! This can be a bit too much for some!

Some of the stories under Pinkalicious are royal tea party, soccer star, cherry blossom etc. Β There are similar series like Purplicious, Goldilicious etc. Hoping to review them in the future.. Grab one today for the little one. Have a good read!
